In order to send an SMS to your Employees from within Archdesk, you must first make sure that the phone capability is turned on.
⚠️TIP! Archdesk allows you to set up multiple phone numbers that you can call from.
You can use your own telephone number, mobile, or landline to make calls from within the system. However, text messages will not be sent from this number.
The capability of making phone calls within Archdesk and the possibility of storing the recordings comes with an added cost. Make sure to check your Archdesk Contract for details.
In order to send the desired SMS to the Employee of your choosing, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Company menu
- Select the Employees tab and within it, the person you wish to send the SMS to
- Once in their Employee card, you will see their phone number and the icon of a phone next to it. Click on the phone icon and select the "Send SMS" option
- A new window will appear with the place where you can write the message in. When done, hit the SEND button
